Patterned concrete,

Stamped and stencilled concrete give you the look of natural stone, cobblestone or pavers in one solid, steel-reinforced slab. There are no loose pavers to lift or sink, weeds have nowhere to grow, and the colour is built into the surface.

There are many patterns and colours to choose from. We send you our colour and design charts so you can customise the pattern, base colour and highlight colour to suit your property, then seal the surface to protect the finish.

Stamped vs Stencilled

Stamped Concrete

After the pour, colour is worked into the surface and textured rubber mats are pressed into the wet concrete. This creates a real 3D texture that looks like slate, cobblestone, ashlar, flagstone or timber. A release colour adds a second, antiqued tone that brings out the detail.

Best for: a natural stone or paver look with texture and grip.

Stencilled Concrete

A paper stencil is laid on the freshly finished concrete, colour is applied over it, and the stencil is lifted off. That leaves crisp grout lines in the base colour, in brick, tile, herringbone, ashlar or crazy pave patterns.

Best for: a smoother, cleaner surface with a sharp, defined pattern that is easy to sweep and clean.

Both are sealed at the end, and you choose your pattern and colours from our colour and design charts.

Stamped concrete has textured mats pressed into the wet concrete, creating a real 3D texture that looks like slate, cobblestone or flagstone. Stencilled concrete uses a paper stencil and colour to create a smoother surface with crisp pattern lines, like brick, tile or crazy pave. Stamped suits a natural stone look, stencilled suits a cleaner, smoother finish.
It depends on the area, the pattern and colours you choose, site access and base preparation. We measure and price after a free site visit and give you an itemised quote.
Stamped concrete has a textured surface that gives good grip. We seal every job and can add a non-slip additive to the sealer for driveways, slopes and pool areas.
